On Thursday, 13th October, 2016 The Lloyd’s Development Group hosted our second event, “Reinsurance & Alternative Capital: 101” presented by Simon Cloney, CEO Steadfast Re.

Following feedback on what topics were of interest to members following our first event,  this event looked at debunk some myths and answer questions on:

• What is Reinsurance?
• What’s so alternative about alternative capital? What are the mechanics?
• How is this relevant to me and my segment of the Australian insurance market?
